Lisabel Filiatrault’s Biography

An extraordinary artist from Québec, Lisabel Filiatrault is making her mark, worldwide.  With an exceptional blend that only Lisabel brings – bold creativity, expressed passionately with advanced materials – stretching the realm of contemporary art.

Lisabel’s talent is recognized by her peers – recipient of The Grand Prize for innovative technique at the 24th international Le Cercle des Artistes Peintres et Sculpteurs du Québec competition in 2007.  She is acclaimed internationally – awarded an Honorary Diploma in Belgium by La Halle-Aux-Draps de Belgique, for her fresh stimulus to the global  art scene.  And valued by the business world in many ways – for example, the Intercontinental Hotel having christened a “Lisabel Suite” in their luxurious Montréal  property.

Lisabel is represented by art galleries and agencies in North America, Europe and the Middle East.  More than 40 exhibitions and counting – two continents, seven countries, 18 cities.  In 2011, The National Museum of Contemporary Art in the Principality of Seborga, near Monaco, is exhibiting Lisabel’s work.
